Tofu Caprese
Perfect summer plate - for lunch or dinner enjoy our silken tofu with juicy tomatoes. Plant based take on the Italian caprese. You can find juicy tomatoes from your local farmers market in the summer months.
Preparation

Wash the tomatoes and cut it into thin slices. Wash the basil leaves and let it dry on a tea towel.

Open the pack of tofu, hold the tofu in your hand to drain the water and place on a chopping board. Slice the tofu around the same size as the tomatoes.

On a large serving plate, arrange the ingredients in the order of Tomato, tofu and basil in between or scattered on top. You can lay it flat or stack it to make a small caprese tower.

Drizzle the Yaemon Tamari followed by olive oil. Grind some black pepper and enjoy.
Tip: Use some bread to absorb the dressing at the end if you don’t want it to go to waste.
